Conduct Disorder

Conduct Disorder (CD) is a childhood and adolescent psychiatric condition characterized by persistent patterns of behavior that violate societal norms and the rights of others. Symptoms may include aggression, theft, deceitfulness, and rule-breaking. CD often leads to significant impairment in social, academic, and family functioning. Early intervention and treatment, including therapy (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy) and family support, can help manage symptoms and prevent further development of more serious antisocial behaviors. If left untreated, Conduct Disorder can have long-lasting negative consequences into adulthood.
